China Telecom Global Limited (CTG) was granted K-1 Construction License by Ministry of Architecture of Republic of Belarus on 26 Dec 2017, details are as follows:
License Name – 1st class (K-1) Construction Attestation
Scope – To perform construction work of buildings and facilities of 1st-4th grade (class) of complexity (For details, please refer to the content of license and Belarusian Classification of buildings and facilities)
China Telecom BLR LLC (CT BLR) was granted K-3 Construction License, details are as follows:
License Name – 3rd class (K-3) Construction Attestation
Scope – To perform construction work of buildings and facilities of 3rd-4th grade (class) of complexity (For details, please refer to the content of license and Belarusian Classification of buildings and facilities)

Background
For the purpose of supporting the communication project of China-Belarus Industrial Park and exploring overseas model of integrated telecom development and operation, China Telecom set up China Telecom BLR LLC in September 2016 and has successfully obtained the basic telecommunications licenses, numbering resources, K-1 and K-3 construction licenses. Having completed the construction of communication network in the pilot area of the park, China Telecom is capable of providing telecommunication services such as data, voice, internet and IPTV to park enterprises.
After obtaining the Belarusian highest level of construction license K-1 license and the K-3 license by CTG and CT BLR respectively, China Telecom will also be able to undertake all types and complexity of ICT and construction projects in Belarus.
China-Belarus Industrial Park Communications Cooperation Project
China-Belarus Industrial Park is the flagship project along the “Belt and Road”. The overall planned area of the park is 91.5 square kilometres with a total investment of about 5.6 billion U.S. dollars. It is the goal that the park will be built as an airport port and modernized community with a population of 200,000. In the future, it will attract more than 200 high-tech enterprises with the estimated employees of 120,000 people.
